All The Single Ladies

One thing single ladies have been dominating this year is purchasing real estate. In 2016, single women made up 17% of the home buying market according to the National Association of Realtors. In fact, most of my transactions in 2016 and 2017 thus far have been made up of helping single women buy homes.

Women have a strong desire to own a home and be a part of the community. I know this was the case for me. I was 25 years old when I purchased my first home. I felt so accomplished and empowered that I could own a home. I mean why should we wait until we are married to own property. Right ladies?

With jobs staying steady and incomes rising, single women will continue to dominate the market. USA Today posted an article that ranked the Raleigh/Durham area #9 for the best city for women to buy a home. Great news for us ladies local to the area!
